After the case was registered, an excise notice was sent to the director and producer of the film. The excise notice was sent stating that the trailer of the film promotes the use of drugs.
The matter was taken up by the Kozhikode Excise Range Inspector. Excise officials say that they had received several complaints against the trailer. A case has been registered under section 55 of the Kerala Excise Act.
Meanwhile, Irshad is the protagonist in the film. Neena Madhu, Gayatri Shankar, Nora Johnson, Nandana Sahdevan and Suwaibatul Aslamiya are the new heroines. The Censor Board has given the film an A certificate.
The film also stars Shalu Rahim, Sivaji Guruvayur, Jayaraj Warrier and others. The film is directed by Omar after films like Happy Wedding, Chunks, Oru Adaar Love and Dhamaka. The film is produced by newcomer Kalantoor.
