Shashi Tharoor MP also accompanied the delegates to dance to the music of Atul Narukara, which has gone viral on social media. A new viewing experience was created for the thousands of spectators who thronged the Tagore Theater by rocking versions of Tamil and Malayalam folk songs.
Tori and Lokita’s performance on the opening day was followed by a sitar concert by Purbayan Chatterjee. Co-produced by Belgium and France, the film tells the story of the bond between a boy and a girl who are refugees born in Africa and raised on the streets of Belgium.
