Chennai: A fan of Ajith died during the release function of H Vinod’s ‘Tuneev’. The incident took place near Rohini Theater in Chennai. A young man died after falling from a lorry during the post-release celebrations of the film. He had jumped into a lorry which was driving slowly in front of the theatre. However, while dancing, his foot slipped and he fell. The seriously injured youth was taken to the hospital by his friends, but his life could not be saved.
Meanwhile, news is coming that Ajit and Vijay’s fans clashed with each other near Rohini theatre. A huge fight broke out between Vijay fans tearing posters of ‘Tunivi’ and Ajith fans of ‘Waarisi’. All the cinema halls in Chennai are crowded. Both the films have been released on the occasion of Pongal. Both the films have got tremendous publicity and are being seen in the theaters as well. Fan shows for both the films ended by midnight in Tamil Nadu.
The world premiere of Waaris started at 9 pm last night at Satyam Cinema in Chennai and ended late at night. The film was screened in front of an invited audience including media persons. Because of this, Waris is getting a lot of comments and reviews. Leading trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted that Waaris is colorful and entertaining. Bala says that the father-son debate drives the film and the film is a Dalpati show.
