Yogi Adityanath welcomes Bollywood actors to Uttar Pradesh for film shoots. “We have made two people MPs from your film industry. We know what problems you all face and what needs to be done about it,” Yogi Adityanath said in Mumbai.
Yogi Adityanath reached Mumbai next month as part of the Investors Summit to be held in Lucknow. Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a film friendly state and has been recognized at National Film Awards and International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Yogi Adityanath promised to ensure a safe environment and benefits for film shootings in UP. According to the film policy of his government, the web series to be shot in UP will get 50 percent subsidy.
He also said that 25 per cent grant would be given for setting up studios and film labs. Suniel Shetty, producer Boney Kapoor, Gorakhpur Lok Sabha MP and actor Ravi Kishan, Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Nirahua, playback singers Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, director Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rajkumar Santoshi and others attended the meeting with Yogi Adityanath.
