Shefik Ki Khushi was one such film that starred Unni Mukundan, a favorite of Malayalam movie lovers. The film released across the cinema halls on 25 November and opened to a good response from the audience.
Produced by Unni Mukundan after the hit Mepadiyaan, the film is directed by debutant Anoop Pandalam. The film was a success and received a good response in theatres.

Reportedly, the film will release on January 6 on Amazon Prime and Simply South. Fans say that Unnitta will rule OTT from now on.
The theme of the film is that a gulf boy comes home and then some problems arise in his life and his love. The film tells the story of a young man named ‘Shefiq’ who is a migrant from a simple family in a small village called ‘Paramhot’.
Other prominent roles in the film include Manoj K. Jayan, Divya Pillai, Bala, Shamanal Rajan, Shaheen Siddiqui, Mithun Ramesh, Sminu Sijo and Jordy Poonjar. Unni Mukundan’s father is also acting in ‘Chefik Ke Santosh’.
