Christy is the first film in which actress Malavika Mohanan and actor Matthew Thomas are working together. The teaser of the film written and directed by Alvin Henty is out now. Only their characters have been shown in the 51-second teaser. 
Benjamin and GR Indugopan have written the screenplay of the film. With experience of working with directors like Ranjith Shankar, Jeetu Joseph, JK, Venu and Salim Ahmed, Alvin Henty marks his debut.
Notable young actor Matthew Thomas made a cameo appearance in the film.
Cinematography is done by Anand C Chandran. The film is produced by Sajay Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan under the banner of Rocky Mountain Cinemas. Music is composed by Govind Vasant. Poovar is the background of the film. This is the first time that this area has become the setting for a film. Another specialty of Pooja Poovar is where the sea and the backwaters meet. The culture, customs and language of the region are depicted in the film.
